  • About

This hibiscus is endemic to Kaua’i, meaning it is only found on this island in the entire world. The flower color can vary between orange and yellow.

  • Uses

A rare hibiscus, my research turned up no history. Please contact me if you know more information about this plant.

  • Growing tips

This hibiscus enjoys more sun than any other hibiscus, but must be kept well watered. They can easily try out, and will exhibit wilted, browning leaves. It can be difficult to recover once an individual dries out. Be mindful of pests, as they can cause individuals to decline quickly.
